House plant help please

Hi all I’ve had a go at growing house plants and I’m having no look I feed the plant every 2 weeks and water frequently.

I’ve had the plant in the sun and part sun but it’s not happy 

any ideas

    I agree with @philippasmith2 . It looks like one of the Calathea types (or something related). They can be picky. They hate any direct sun (I have one on a North-facing windowsill that has a net curtain, so the light is indirect and well-filtered) and like frequent misting. Also keep the compost damp not soaking, and make sure that any excess drains away. Don't leave it sitting in a saucer of water.
