Lemon trees

Help I have 2 lemon trees which did very well over summer and I have fruits on both. I’ve moved them into a well insulated summer house with no drafts and a low heat in overnight to keep the temp up but not hot. I’ve switched to a winter feed, but the leaves are dropping. I’ve googled it and I can’t work out if I’m over watering or under watering. I water once a fortnight they are in containers in gravel so they don’t sit in water. The leaf drop is a mixture of curled dry leaves and green floppy leaves. I’m desperate not to lose them I’ve put so
much effort into nuturing them
can somebody help???

  • Let them (almost) dry out between watering in winter, make sure they are not  subject to cold drafts. The reduction in light levels will cause some leaves to drop but they should retain most of them. They will regrow in spring.
