Autumn raspberries

advice please! Is there any reason why I can’t cut back my Autumn F rasp. now in nov/dec , rather than wait till the new year? They are well established and fruit very well but whatever I read says Feb .

    My canes from this year have completely died back and I was very tempted to chop them to the ground, but noticed some tiny new growth at the base, which hasn’t happened before at this time of year. I wonder if chopping them too early would result in a growth spurt that would then be hit by the frost. I restrained myself, but it was hard 😊
