Fig tree

My friend's fig is on a south-facing wall.  She pruned it hard last year.  Must of the leaves have now fallen, revealing a fair number of small fruits.  Are they  putting in an early appearance for next year due to the warm summer?  If they won't survive the winter is she unlikely to get a crop at all next year? Thanks.

  • If it’s in a sheltered spot and the winter isn’t too hard the smaller ones should overwinter and then grow and ripen next summer. 😊
