    Thanks Anni :) I’ve just found Lycestria is actually spelt Leycesteria. Apologies if that sounds like I’m picking holes there! Wasn’t sure if you’d appreciate the correct for yourself :)

  • Agree with the above.  Pentaglottis sempervirens, aka Green Alkanet, has very pretty bright blue flowers, but can be a thug...
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Totally agree , almost brilliant gentian-blue flowers but can become very invasive .
    The roots are very difficult to eradicate .
