Animals fouling the lawn and garden

We had our lawn relaid during the summer, but during the last few weeks I find little piles of droppings all over it - and I mean about fifty every day. I’ve tried to work out what animal is doing it from pictures on the internet, but none seem to match. I wonder if anyone can help me as it’s driving me crazy - and not…

Just try not to walk on them while they're wet. That makes thinks muddy. Easy this time of year when the grass is mostly too wet to walk on anyway.
