I imagine this is a weed that has popped up amongst my peonies - can anyone confirm?

Possibly verbena bonariensis? I get them self seeing every where!

For some reason they remind me of Lycestria formosa seedlings.

Me too ... the colouration is right ... 🤔

Ah -
Lycestria formosa would make sense, as I have one on the other side of the garden, which in turn self seeded from the garden next door. I'm not a huge fan, so they are coming out! Thank you.
