Unsure what is wrong with my indoor plant

I have this indoor plant (which I forgot the name) and it used to be a healthy plant but now developed these brown spots all over, including on new growth leaves? Is it a gone case? Any advice and help appreciated. It lives indoors in the hallway (which is cooler than most of the house). Thanks.

The little lines and squiggles remind me of a leaf miner.. but the tracks aren't very long.

  • It does look like some sort of leaf miner ... I think I would repot the plant and then use one of the insecticidal sticks that you can get for houseplants.

I don’t usually advocate insecticides, but in this case it’s not ‘out in the environment’ and is about as targeted as possible.

  • Here is an even more upclose picture. Thank you for your suggestions. I did see some spidery web style stuff below the leaves.

It looks like a kalanchoe. They're not expensive. I'd dump it and get another. Wash the surrounding area in case the bugs are lurking in crevices.
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • I think that's my preferred solution too @B3 ... if possible under lockdown .... alternatively perhaps Father Christmas could bring one 🎅

Sorry for being a bit premature with that emoji, but we have to have something to look forward to at the moment  ;)

  • Thank you, yes now I remember it is a Kalanchoe...not too expensive, perhaps easier to get rid of and get a new one next spring. Thanks all
