Dried runner beans

I have quite a few dried runner and dwarf beans which dried on the vine.  I am wondering whether it is safe to eat these as pulses in soups/casseroles etc through the winter? I don't want to poison the family!

  • Yes, I grow an old variety of runner (Greek Gigantes) which is only grown for the seeds, but like all pulses you have to cook them properly as @pansyface says. :)
