What paint NOT to use on raised bed -pallets

Hi there I plan to get some pallet collars to create some new beds and I wanted to paint them grey however I just wanted to check if things like ronseal and Cuprinol are a bad idea - would it affect the plants inside ? I plan to use a liner but thought I’d check as I am a newbie abs appreciate someone has probably done this before
