Plants

There are lots of large leafed plants appearing all over my garden. How can I tell the difference between next spring’s foxgloves and a weed?

    I get foxgloves confused sometimes.
If the underside of the leaf is soft and furry, I find they're foxgloves.
If they are coarse and hairy, they're not foxgloves - it's usually alkanet of some sort in my garden

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.
  • That’s useful to know. If you have really large and very furry leaves it could be mullein. I’m thinking of pulling them up though.
