    It's probably just struggling and trying to thrive if it's had no attention for several years.
    A photo would certainly help, but if it's making new foliage, that's a good sign  :)

    They're slow growing, so I'm guessing it isn't a big specimen anyway, which is a good thing, as it will be easier to help it along  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Looks good. New growth coming well  :)
    Have you a photo of the whole plant?
