Jasmine leaves

Hi, I live in Paris and planted a jasmine vine in a large pot on my west facing balcony in April 2020. It grew well over the summer. Over the last month I have noticed an increasing number of leaves that have dark purple marks with some leaves almost entirely changing colour. A few leaves have dropped. I attach some photos and would be grateful for your thoughts on what this might be. Many thanks!

Is this a jasmine or Trachelospermum jasminoides?
  • Looks like you have Trachelospermum jasminoides there to me as well. If so, then leaves turning red are nothing to worry about. It's evergreen and all through the year you see a few leaves turning red. Some forms (they're very variable) will also turn purplish in cold weather. It's actually one of their nicer attributes.
