Do I need to protect over winter?
in Plants

I've had this Jasmine for 2 years now. Over the summer it thrives but in the winter it looks sad. Should I protect it? Up north in Stockport so winter can be cold

If it doesn't survive, you'll just have to plant something else more suited to your conditions. It's how it is.
They certainly don't survive here. I wouldn't have though Stockport was very 'north', but they're mainly suited to the south of England, and sheltered places - town gardens etc
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It's looking quite mature, so even if you get some bits dying off - ie, stem ends, you can just nip those out once it's warmer in spring, and the bulk of the plant should survive .

Anyway - good luck with it
