Hedge suggestions

I want to cover up an ugly fence which is about 30 feet long. The area will get the sun until early afternoon but be in full shade after that. I'm ideally looking for something which would give flower and berry, evergreen, quick to establish and fairly low maintenance. There will be no access behind once it becomes established. Soil is good, and fairly light.

Probably seeking the impossible with that wish list but suggestions would be appreciated.

Pyracantha and Mahonia too. Unless you don't want something jaggy

One of the evergreen cotoneasters might work as well.

It depends how much space you have, for example the Viburnum or Mahonia will come a fair distance out from the fence when mature. If you do not have much space or want to have a reaonable planting area left in front of the fence you might be better looking at an evergreen climber such as Japanese honeysuckle (which will need some wires to climb over) or Ivy. The suggestions of Pyracantha or Cotoneaster would also allow you to train and trim these shrubs back to the fence fairly closely and provide good coverage.

The garden is 150 feet long so plenty space. Hedge will need to be free standing as the fence is falling down and this hedge is to hide it
