    This was fascinating, @LG_.  Never seen bird's nest fungus before... but when I went to the bins this morning, this old bit of plywood caught my eye...   :)


    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    The fungi around here are amazing this year.   :)

    I'm finding it quite difficult to ID the different species of "bird's nest" - mine must be different from yours, @LG_...  ...though maybe they are Crucibulum laeve (yours) and Cyathus striatus (mine).    
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
