Lucky for all of you, none of you have "seen" my knees. @Dovefromabove my left one was "done" in a tobogganing accident in the winter of '62-'63 and nearly 30 years of commuting by motorcycle hasn't helped any.
Oh OK then  Hope sister gets a good posh one when the time comes.
Aye - covered in glitter maybe I just strap mine up in their braces and the b*ggers have to get on with it. When they eventually stop me hillwalking, I'll give them a ceremonial burning in a Viking stylee. The braces that is - not the knees. Although.....
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Not going for new knees then @Fairygirl?  Give you a new lease of hill walking life?
My "feature" beam has fallen - collapsed after all the recent rains have softened the soil. Oh well, it can be recycled as a bed edger in the potager.
I know this has been a difficult year for everyone and in the scheme of things I am fairly well off. Well aware that I have a lovely supportive family, good neighbours (mostly), a garden and my health but I would really like a new shed!
My 30 year old shed has been hanging on by a thread since the storms took all the roofing felt off 2 years ago and tipped it forward. Opening the door is a test of strength.
My lovely family bought me a new shed for Christmas last year but with the storms in January/February, the struggle to find someone to lay the base and 8 months of house arrest it has taken this long to get a delivery date - 18 November. Right in the middle of the new lockdown.
I just want my shed!

I am crossing my fingers @Lizzie27 as they would have had to take it into the back garden through the house. Wonderfully secure back garden for dogs and children, nightmare for anything big and/or heavy.
I am negotiating at the moment as my neighbour has said they can deliver it through his garden. It seems to have become much too important but I guess that's what happens when your world contracts and you know more about US elections than what is happening in your own village   I do miss standing at the bus stop and (strangely) advising the tourists in Windsor......
Who knew how a shed could become the focus of one's life Â

Mine have a different problem from my sis @Obelixx. Her knees are arthritic, and she's been struggling to walk any distance for a while. Mine aren't fixable by operations, so I'll just muddle on.... until I can'tÂ
@herbaceous - we've been in lockdown here for several weeks, but I saw a neighbour getting a new shed put in just the other day, so perhaps it will be fine if the neighbour will allow access. Might just be a case of checking exactly what your regs are, as they may well be difficult from ours. Hopefully not, and you can have a shed to potter in before too long Â
