Vine Weevil

Some of my pots have Vine Weevil grubs.  I normally just put this soil on my flower beds.  What do you do with it? Any tips.

Tip it out and the birds will eat them. Then stick it on the beds  :)

We dont get birds. Having spent the summer hunting the adults every  night for several months and catching well over 200 I prefer to leave nothing to chance so they are squashed.

Nice idea @Fairygirl , I hadn't thought of that.  It's the first time in ages that they have killed anything that we have in pots, so I had gotten quite complacent about them.

    They're little bandits aren't they?
I had a few small heucheras from ones I'd split a while ago. I'd stuck them out the way, and about a month ago, thought I'd use a couple in various spaces, but several had been munched, so I spent a wee while cleaning the soil off them all, replanting them, and put all the grubs into the birdcage for dinner for the birds.  :)
