Clematis Jingle bells

I have just bought a jingle bells. Plan was to plant against an East facing fence. Now reading up on it it is recommended for South/West facing aspect. Will it be ok in my South facing garden on an East facing fence? Want to get it right as been after getting a winter flowerer for a while. Thanks

An exposed east facing site will do no favours, but one that's well sheltered from wind and rain [if that's where your prevailing weather comes from] is a different matter.
