Does Escallonia need dead-heading?

Our escallonia hedge flowered really well this year but it doesn’t need pruning back. Just wondering if I should dead-head manually or will nature and the weather do it for me?

There is no need to try and deadhead this shrub, like many shrubs, they flower and new growth soon take over and the old and faded flowers shrivel and get hidden by new growth.

I never deadheaded it when I grew it in the past. It just does as @Borderline describes  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
