    Well done, so it is. Hopefully it survives the winter and increase as a patch. Interesting when not sure if I ever planted nerine bulbs. Just the one flowering stem.

    I always take the pots into the greenhouse for the winter and keep then very dry. They seem to thrive in poor soil and kept dryish. They’re starting to die off now but have been lovely.

    That's a lovely show @Lyn. I had to dig my clump up and pot them but have only got three flower stems this year. I'll do as you suggest and move them into the cold greenhouse when they've gone over.

    Our Nerines came from a wildlife trust plant sale many many years ago.
    They are in the ground and we leave them.
    Each year they send up flowers and it is great to see something else this time of the year.

    Lovely display there. Do they have no leaves though?  I thought the nearby leaves were there’s but maybe it’s bluebell leaves. Currently in the ground in a fairly dry part here so I might chance leaving it there and hopefully it comes up again.

    Your bulbs are Nerine sarniensis. They are South African and need to be really pot bound to flower well. A good hot bake in the summer and damp conditions in the winter.   Well drained gritty compost as they will rot off if left to stand in wet soil. I give mine a feed of potash when the come into flower and again when the flowers go over.  The leaves are long,strap like and last quite a long time after the flowers have finished. The pink one you have seems to be the hardiest, can cope with a few degrees of frost. There are white and salmon ones which I have seen for sale in GCs but they are a bit more iffy. I have some hybrids ranging in colour from sparkly salmon, vermillion, deep red, purple and pale sugar pink but they are not so easy to get to flower.
    I purchased my hybrids many years ago from the National Collection which was held on the Isle of Wight. It has now moved so not sure where it is now.

    Thanks Joyce, they are in a drying border that gets most of the sun. Should I dig out and put in pots or leave it be?

    I now have Nerine, Nerine, Ner - iinee.... in my head.
