Hi a friend has given me a bit of this plant, please can anyone tell me what it is? Friend doesn't know!

    Persicaria.  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    It's a Persicaria - there's one called Firetail that looks very like the pic, mine is more red than pink,  but it could be an effect of the light.
