Yellow leaves On my Bay Tree

Could anyone comment on the yellow leaves on my container bay tree.

It has been fed this year (seaweed),  us not very consistently, and watered regularly. It has not been repotted or top or bottom dressed.

Do I need to worry, or does it just a little more TLC next spring?

Thanks for any wisdom.

It’ll lose a few leaves from time to time ... all trees do ... deciduous trees do it all at once and evergreens do it a few at a time. It’s normal and not a problem.
If I think that mine is losing too many at once if looking a bit poorly I give it a spray with a dilute seaweed solution every ten days or so. Seems to perk it up.

I meant to say, I’d repot into a bigger pot next March ... John Innes No 3 and horticultural grit at a ratio of roughly 4:1

As above ........... tho I'd just add that Bays are rarely happy for long in small pots.
That is quite a big pot - 18". Much more and I will struggle to pick it up to move it. The bay itself is perhaps just under a meter tall.

So should I take it up to perhaps 24"?

    Cheers
