Streptocarpus over-potted
Hello,
I was given a streptocarpus a few years ago, which flowered beautifully for 10 months or so. I divided it and potted into larger pots, and the 2 plants have barely flowered since, although the leaves look good. I know now that I shouldn’t have put them into bigger pots. But can I recover them? Do I need to cut the root balls down and force them back into a small pot? Or do I split them again, but this time into small pots? Or take leaf cuttings and chuck the big ones out?

Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.
