    They are poisonous.
    Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    My understanding is that Sulphur Tuft are ‘not edible’ @Fairygirl  ... whether technically that means the same as poisonous I don’t know, and I don’t aim to find out by experimenting 😉

    Thanks ladies but you did all the work 😊. @Dovefromabove, they are indeed lovely sight.

    Honey fungus isn't poisonous. They are edible and many people eat them over here. I don't like them, because there are a lot of better and tastier mushrooms to eat.

    Sulphur tuft is poisonous and cause vomiting and digestion problems.
