What to do with cactus arm toppling over plant?

What should I do with this cactus? Should I take the whole arm off? If so where about? What about those aerial roots? Any suggestions most welcome.

Was the original grafted plant one of those hideous chlorophyll-less bright orange Gymnocalycium mihanovichii cultivars ? These are grafted by the millions as novelty plants ; (they rank alongside painted heathers in aesthetic appeal) .
The main cactus stem is Hylocereus undatus , a semi-epiphytic species which is frost-sensitive . It can be easily re-rooted if wanted , but makes ultimately an ungainly amorphous mass of no particular appeal . Cut the stems near the aerial roots , leave to callous for a few days and then re-pot into a free-draining mix ; as above , make sure of an even light source .
