Fuschia advice

H, I have a hardy fuschia that has been in a 12 ish inch terracotta patio pot for about 20 years. We recently had our fence replaced and this has given us a bit of extra room in our bed. I'd like to move the fuschia into the bed but am not sure whether it is too late this year. I've been waiting for a huge very late flowing Cosmo to on something and it's just started ....I usually wrap the pot in fleece over winter. Many thanks

Thanks, I'm in Hastings so spitting distance from the sea. So mild.

Hardy fuchsias are exactly that - hardy.  :)
Anything in a pot can be planted into the ground at any time, as long as the soil isn't frozen or waterlogged. This is a very good time. It'll probably appreciate having some room after being in a tiny pot all that time  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Thanks, it's 12 inch diameter and over a foot tall so not tiny but taken on board.
