Parsley leaves having yellow spots

Hello.

I bought a parsley at the beginning of summer. And it was growing quick and became bushy. It looked healthy. I started to pick the leaves from the side with the stem.

About 2 weeks ago the eaves started to have lots of little yellow spots and slowly the leaves dried off and died. The yellow spots appeared on more and more leaves. Now all of them has but the small new comers. When I turn the leaves towards the lights I can see through the yellow spots, kind of like something sucked out the life of the leaf.

First we thought it's a tiny insect so we treated it with neem oil spray. It seems like it didn't help, but not sure as it doesn't treat the yellow spots. It's maybe silly but I changed the window it was from the kitchen due to heat (near gas hob). I gave some feed. I was thinking maybe it outgrew the pot, but i can't see any roots on the bottom.

Could it be a disease? Shall I continue with neem oil? Shall I separate from other plants? Sorry for the lots of question. I really appreciate any help or clues.

I'm afraid I don't know what the spots are but it looks to me like the pot is too small and it would certainly be much better outside. Parsley grows long roots and likes lots of space, so in the ground or a very deep pot should liven it up. You seem to have several plants in the pot, too, they need their own container.
  • It's my first parsley. You gave me a lot of great advice. Thank you so so much. I'll try them tomorrow. 😊
