    I find the trick is: don't scratch under any circumstances. Then apply whatever works for you. Aloe Vera gel or witch hazel gel works for me.
    If you scratch - you're done for😕

    I'm still getting bitten and will do up to November here, have a new very itchy one on my arm today. We have screens here but I only have to poke my nose out of the door and I get bitten.

    Mozzies are perfectly capable of flying 5m high to get into our bedroom. Screens on every window but not on the front door, it’s arch-shaped and neither us nor previous owners bothered to get one specially made. They sneak in the front door or the slightest gap and mount night assaults, so a second layer of defence is required via electric plug-in killers. We have tiger mozzies too, they are around in the day and their bite is far more painful than the evening crew.
