Coleus spots

I have this Coleus/Plectranthus scutellarioides plant and I don’t know what’s wrong with it. It started with some small spots on the tip of the leaves and then it spread like a v-shape from the edges to majority of the leaves, most visible on the backside. After a while the leaves started to drop.

My guess is that it’s some kind of fungi or mildew because it’s getting worse after it has been damp. I can’t find anything that specifically starts on the tip when I have been searching.

  • In simple language.  Pick the affected leaf off.

Don't know where you are but here in East Yorkshire the cooler autumn weather has turned my coleus very sad. They aren't hardy plants and despite being in a sheltered spot all the leaves and beginning to go like yours. They are looking very half dressed now and will be compost fodder soon

I agree ...  they’re over ... compost them and grow more from seed next year ... or you could try taking some cuttings from the old ones ... try rooting them in water ... it’s  a bit late in the season but it might work. 🤞
