    I've never been a fan of the lasagne thing. I think they rarely look good. 
    I've always done separate pots, and they can be moved and swapped around as needed. Much better IMO. 
    I suppose if you can only have one pot it's different, but in that case I'd do as big a pot as possible, and fill it with other plants as well as bulbs, so that the effect was longer lasting. The bulbs could even be in individual pots so that they could be replaced with summer bedding or similar. 
    We had some lovely dustbins on another thread recently, illustrating that.  :)  
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
