Identify this plant please

Can someone please identify this plant for me? I bought it in a pack of three as dry roots, labelled as ‘echinacea ‘ but obviously not.  Thank you. Elma Jean

    Looks like Monkshood/Aconite :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Definitely Aconite.

    Yes ... Monkshood ... Aconitum. 

    Just be a bit careful with it ... as with a lot of garden plants it has a degree of toxicity and can affect some folk.

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
