I bought a hebe this year that looks a bit like that but I can't remember the name. Mine's too young to have flowered get but I'm expecting white flowers eventually😊
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • Given it is scented, I wonder whether it could be Choisya Aztec Pearl or White Dazzler?

I'd agree - one of the Choisyas.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • It is such a lovely choisya @Sunnyspot I'm envious  :o
I have a White Dazzler, but it is tiny and grows in a pot. When it flowers it smells of orange blossoms. Hope one day it will look as good as yours...

Its common name is Mexican Mock Orange isn't it?  It does a lot better for me here than the 2 philadelphus I inherited and which have not coped in recent droughts and heatwaves.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

  • You are all so knowledgeable and clever!! It sounds like everyone pretty much agrees it’s a Choisya?
My friend will be thrilled! Thank you so much
