    I think it’s definitely a moisture thing ... I’ve given up with them ... they don’t like our very free-draining soil ☹️

  • I'm in Cambridgeshire on chalky clay with long dry spells in summer. The aconites just about hang on in shade until the autumn rains arrive. I second their moisture-loving nature, they are a sorry bunch here.
