Green plastic mini greenhouse

Hi, I had a green plastic mini greenhouse in lockdown. I grew 4 tomato plants 2 Alicante and 2 Gardeners’ delight. I got fruit on all plants but only about 4 fruits ripened!
is it because with the plastic being green it didn’t get enough sun? I eventually brought them outside thinking maybe it was the light, but no joy there either.
I would be grateful for your thoughts

They need warmth to ripen, so it isn't because the cover is green  :)
The amount of warmth they get depends on your location and climate, but you can bring the fruits indoors to finish ripening. Many of are having to do that as it's been a bit hit and miss this year, even when growing undercover.
Once they start turning green, and look pale,  they have started the process though :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
