Agapanthus help needed

took a cutting from a plant, now leaves turning yellow in our garden. Is this a solvable problem. Help please.

    Is that the cutting or the parent plant?
    Either way if it's a deciduous type they do turn yellow in autumn, it's part of the process of dying back for winter.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
