Unknown bugs on my nasturtium

Can someone please tell me a little about these bugs I found on my nasturtiums. Are they harmful to the plant? They've only just arrived! Thanks!

That big one is a ladybird larvae, so very helpful.   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • The others are aphids, which the ladybird has been scoffing.

Thanks! Really helpful, checked out their images, not seen this particular pattern but can see the same style! Are they good for the plant? Thanks,,🙂

Sorry - as @Alan Clark2 in Liverpool says - the others are the aphids which it eats. They're the ones which are the problem for the plants  ;)

  • Thank you both! Guessing it's best to leave nature do its thing, was just worried they may harm the plant. ,,,🙂

Aphids eat nasturtiums and ladybird larvae eat aphids ... nature in balance in your garden 👍

However nasturtiums are not winter hardy so they won’t survive the first frosts anyway. If yours has dropped seeds these will produce new plants in the spring. 😊

Thank you! That's great to know, they are in a hanging basket, they are really pretty, hope they drop them seeds, I'll let you know!

They’re very easy to grow from seed in the spring and packets are usually easy available so you could get some, just in case.  They come in various shades of red, orange, apricot, yellow and cream.
