Onion sets from earlier in the year.

After I planted the bulk of the onion sets in my veg garden, hubby thought it a good idea to plant the spare onion sets in the edge of the flower borders where they haven’t grown at all. Should I transfer them to the veg plot now that I have lifted the large onions or leave them to plant out next spring? Do you think they will be any good?

Leave them where they are. Next year they will quickly run up to flower.  The bees will like them.
