Can I keep this Cacti outside during Winter Months?

  That's how they grow. if you leave it out it will die.
  if you don't much care for it, why not find a new home for it?

  Agree, needs to be kept frost-free and out of the rain;  It is a houseplant in the UK.

  The leaves don't look healthy. This could be over or underwatering . Are there drainage holes in the bottom of the pot? Also they don't really like full scorching sun so that could be an issue too.

  From May to October, my orchid cactus lives in the garden.  Tomorrow, October 1st, I will take it in, place it near a south-facing window and water it only when absolutely necessary.
