Can anyone help me find out the name and type of this rose?

  • YouGarden were not able to help apart from saying it was a bush rose but here are the latest photos.

  • Any help would be much appreciated.

I think I bought the same selection of 5 unnamed bare root 'Old English' bush roses, all different
colours, back in autumn 2019. My guess is that they were second quality bare roots from an unknown producer, maybe DA.  I think you will struggle to identify yours, lovely as it is - sorry.

  • Thanks very much for your suggestion but when I searched online for Rosa Golden Wedding it looks very yellow. Mine has pale pink petals on the outside and apricot in the middle. It was good of you to reply though.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Thanks, this one certainly looks the closest! Must pop up to Peter Beales again as we are just down the road in Suffolk and I need to give the car a run. Hopefully their cafe is still open too.

I love Peter Beales, beautiful garden. OH has a cottage in Norfolk so I've been there several times and bought roses.
