Help with IDs please - a white rose and a GW purple vine

A friend has this white climbing rose. It has an incredible strong scent similar to lily of the valley. They have a pretty open centre. Any ideas?



This is the purple vine in Adam's garden. Does anyone know what this is?

    I think the vine might be Vitis vinifera 'Purpurea'. I have planted one this year and it's beautiful. Turns purple in the autumn. Mine hasn't fully turned yet, but it's on its way.

    Yes, I did wonder about that. I does seem to be in quite  shady spot under a tree, but that might just be an odd camera angle. Thanks, @LG_
