Keeping weeds at bay in new lawn

  • Hi, yes we've had 5 or below for quite a few nights now.  I over-seeded the back lawn in April and despite the hot weather it went very well albeit with lots of watering though.

    Grass seed does need decent, consistent temps and moisture to germinate and grow well @Andrewlees1980. In cooler areas it's always easier in spring  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
