We have to have our dreams! I'm laughing at the 'free installation' statement on that first one. I should bl**dy well thinks so when you're spending that amount! My daughter's little car bought recently, cost that
And she could probably park it in there, and still leave plenty of room for greenhouse related activities 🤣
I'm in South Yorkshire too, and acidanthera aren't reliably hardy for me (not even in my well-drained sandy soil) so it might be best to store them indoors for the winter. A garage or shed might be enough protection.
I dont think I would mind too much if these didn't last well this time as they were reduced bulbs to start with, and I was late potting them up so I just put a couple in each small pot, as i had no confidence they would do anything. Now I know that they work and how nice they are i will be creating a bigger display next year (and they will fit in nicely with my purple and white colour scheme 😁). I still have the rest of the packet left which have been kept dark so no idea if i would be able to use those next time or if i would be better buying again?
Hi @spookess ... don't worry, when spring arrives those of us with subscriptions to the GW 'paper' magazine do get some free seeds ... especially for subscribers
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
