Quick Customer Research questionnaire for Product Design NEA

Hello, I am a GCSE product design student. I have the task to find a target market and talk to them or create a quiz to learn more on the needs and wants of the customer. My target market is gardeners so it would be very appreciated if a number of people could spend 1-2 minutes to fill this in. Link - https://forms.gle/ZuXVZ25wZFuzinEh7

I filled it in and clicked the submit button but nothing happened.  Pressed it again and still nothing. Pressed it a third time and gave up.

I don’t often fill in these surveys but as the poster asked if we could fill it in, instead of fill it out, I have, filled it in that is. 🙂

  • I tried but failed, because  I  honestly cannot say which plant is my favourite. And a dishonest answer would be of no value, surely?
There are so many that are not just useful or invaluable in garden terms, but that give that unmistakeable lift of the heart when I see them in bloom. Snowdrops, primroses, my giant Lysichiton, roses, bluebells, even the humble lawn daisy and buttercups (of course!) and all those others that I forget until I suddenly see a new spot of colour and there they are in all their beauty. I can easily have 3 different favourites in a day :)

A basic rule in devising a questionnaire is being very critical of the questions asked. Why am I asking this? How will it help me achieve my aim? Those are two basic challenges that need to be posed and I would be almost certain that ‘What is your favourite plant?’ does not satisfy the criteria. It is a filler question almost certainly of no ultimate value. That you could not answer it @Buttercupdays will have no bearing on the final outcome in my view.

There were some questions that would probably have been deleted if this questionnaire had been properly piloted but it is, for heaven’s sake, a GCSE student doing a Design project not an undergraduate doing Social Studies research. Most questions were well worded, devoid of spelling or grammatical errors and the OP phrased his/her request politely. I had no hesitation in completing it and hope it contributes to a good GCSE grade.
