Best JKW thread?

Hi, a neighbour has just bought a house and discovered it has JKW. He thinks it might have been cut back for the survey and the viewings. We imagine that surrounding neighbours may have it unawares also.

Which is the best existing thread about legal action and getting rid of infestation. There are very many threads on the topics.

Thanks

That's a bummer. Perhaps it would best if he just contacts a solicitor, and certainly the solicitor who was dealing with the house sale.
I can't remember which thread would be best. You can certainly get rid of it with the right approach. Injecting into the stems is usually the most effective way.
If several people have it though, it would need a unified approach from them all.

He is looking at the legal side. I'd like to send him a good thread rather than starting a whole new one. He is getting in "professionals". This doesn't always bode well.
  • Does he have a mortgage? If so I imagine they’ll have a view on the course of action to take.

Had a look at some of the threads for this and the advice is what he is already doing and what Fairygirl and dovefromabove have said.
On the whole it's best if your neighbour joins the forum to have a look or ask if he needs specific help.
You have to declare it when you fill in the property information form TA6 but it's a tick yes, no, don't know so if they have put don't know he would have to prove they did.
