How to Overwinter new strawberry plants?

I'm hoping this is an obvious question.

I am propagating (ie trying to) from strawberries to renew my stock.

Once they are in their pots, where do i keep them overwinter? Is it just on the patio or do they need to be in eg a cold frame to keep the frost away.

Thanks

Ferdinand

They are completely hardy, no need to worry about them.

Mine have never been protected in any way, even tiny runners in 3 inch pots.
They just get on with snow/frost/rain/wind - everything going, as @edhelka says.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Another vote for the virtual indestructability of the strawberry  :)

I wouldn't waste any space or time on mollycoddling them in any way. They're hard as nails!!!  B)
