Wow these are all so expensive, another league to what I'm used to. I got some anvil loppers from Aldi £8.99. I keep the blade sharp and they've never crushed a branch yet.
I have a pair of Wolf Anvil loppers that we keep clean and sharpened but only use for shortening stems to make the weight more manageable because anvils can crush and that wounds the tissue and encourages disease. The final cut is done with Fiskar bypass or a pruning saw depending on thickness.
Our Fiskars are cheap, 30€ extendables with a twist action which broke on about the 3rd use. Took them back to the shop who were happy to exchange but the same thing happened. Fiskar have never responded when informed. The blade and cutting action are excellent but the extendable handles are crap.

I know it's been nearly a year since this post, but to answer the question Wonky I have only just bought a pair of WOLF-Garten RR900T. I managed that long with the crappy Chinese ones from Amazon, never again...!
