Could also be vine weevils. Check after nightfall with a torch. If you see black or brownish bugs nibbling ... crunch them underfoot....no sign of them then be happy about the friendly 🐝

Marne la vallée, basically just outside Paris 🇫🇷, but definitely Scottish at heart.
