Flowers getting munched

Hi everyone, does anyone know what might be eating these flowers? Can't find anything hiding on the plants anywhere, must be something coming out at night for a cheeky munch! 😂

Slugs/snails and vine weevils probably.  Most of that damage looks like a combination of them:)
You may need to look at a chemical control or nematodes for both, or you can spend many hours going out at night and hunting them  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Hi @Fairygirl i just thought it was strange that only the flowers were getting it and not the foliage...if it's just the usual suspects that's fine. I don't use any chemicals so hopefully my new hedgehog pal that's coming into my garden will sort them out! 😁

    Cheers!

There looks like a bit of foliar damage in the first pic, but I think the rough, hairy chrysanth foliage might not be to their liking. I'm wondering if there's a wee bit of earwig nibbling too. I've noticed quite a lot of them this year, and we don't normally get many.
