Earwigs

in Fruit & veg
I have grown some purple sprouting broccoli from seed in a raised bed. I netted the plants I've just planted out against the cabbage butterflies. That's OK but now some of them are being eaten at the lower stem and fallen over. They're wilted and no good now. I'm pretty sure it's earwigs. Any ideas how to stop them?

I've put a pot with straw in like you suggest.
